In the life of a born again christian, God uses all trials for our good and His glory. The trials we face come with pain and suffering. And the suffering makes us more like His Son Jesus. Because Jesus suffered – christians must face suffering as well.
James 1:2-4 (NKJV) says: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” Faith will be tested. No doubt about it. In your next trial – by faith – count it all joy. It probably won’t feel joyful or look joyful – but just go ahead anyways and do what God says. Count it all joy!
In my book I share how I suffered through an 11 year trial. I counted it all joy through the tears of pain (not perfectly of course), and now it is all joy! God bottled up all my tears during the decade of my life in which I cried and went through unspeakable suffering. He is collecting your tears too! Refuse to get mad or bitter at God during your trial. Trust Him! He loves you and only wants the best for your life.
