October 1, 2016 For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37 NKJV)

Nothing is too hard for God. He created the world and He knows about every situation. He even knows every hair on each person He created. (See Matthew 10:30)

As I write this today my mom is nearing the end of her life. Unless God intervenes with a miracle, which He is fully capable of doing, my mom will most likely be passing in days. She has run the race well. She has laid down her life for others. She has long-suffered and endured many trials without hardly ever complaining. She prayed this prayer often throughout her life: “Not my will, but thy will be done.” I believe that is a powerful prayer and God most certainly hears it. Jesus prayed the same way: “He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” (Matthew 26:39 NLT)

I know God is in complete control. He will do what is best for her life. I am believing this for her – “for with God nothing shall be impossible.” If it is His will for her to be restored and even walk again, it will happen and no one can stop it from happening. God is a God of miracles.
