July 29, 2017 Suffering serves a divine purpose in the life of a believer

Trials and Tribulations. Every person encounters them.

God sometimes uses these hardships to draw people to Himself. The bible says for all have sinned. But God has a plan. He sent Jesus to save human beings from their sins. He is willing to save anyone. Christ died on a Cross so that sinners could be forgiven. God does use hardship to draw ordinary people to Himself.

Once a person receives Christ as Lord and Savior – suffering still happens. But God uses suffering in the life of a born-again believer to transform that person into the image of His Son. The book of James says this:

James 1:2-3 (NKJV)

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. By faith, trials should be “counted as all joy.” This can only be done by faith as suffering means pain!

Don’t give up today. Rather look up!

Psalm 121:1-2

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

  1. I just wanted to say I was at the West Bend local authors event this past Saturday. I didn’t buy a book because I didn’t have the money. However, I want you to know that your story has been shared and prayers are and have been coming your way. Thank you for sharing your story. Please continue to share your story and God’s Word.

Thank you and God Bless. I will be getting the book in the near future.
