By the grace of God I endured a 21-year trial prior to becoming a christian. God carried me for the first 21 years of my life. I also had a “thorn in the flesh” for 37 years in length. After 37 years, He ended the trial. God’s grace was sufficient for me. I also had an 11 year long trial too. Again, God’s grace carried me. Great faith comes by way of believing His promises, waiting upon Him, patiently long-suffering, praying without ceasing, and trusting Him through times of pain and suffering. Faith honors God and God honors faith. Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” If you are suffering with pain and in a trial that appears to never have an ending, keep drawing near to God. The bible says if you draw near to Him – then He will draw near to you. So draw near to God even if He seems to be a million miles away. Call on Jesus, – the most powerful name on the face of this earth.
