Isaiah 43:2 from NKJV says:
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you
I went through the refiner’s fire and that season of my life lasted 11 years long! God held me. God comforted me. God was faithful to me. God healed me! He kept me from being burned as stated in scripture!
If you have entered the fire or are currently in the fire I can offer these suggestions: Stay on your knees. Cry out to God. Ask friends to pray. Hold onto His promises from the bible. Trust in Him. By faith, believe He is up to something good in your life! In the life of a christian – not one thing can touch us – unless He has allowed it for some higher purpose. True joy in life is found along the pathway of suffering for Him and with Him.
This verse is a great one to lean on and hold to (by faith of course): Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
God is true to His Word. He keeps every promise that He makes. 100% of the time. Trust Him as you pass through the flames/the furnace of affliction. He will not leave you!
