July 30, 2016 I have often heard “it is darkest before dawn”

In my book – I describe how I traveled through the “darkest night” ever – unspeakable suffering – for an entire year of my life. JOB was tested in the bible and I was as well! It was my “season of JOB”. The Lord Himself carried me through this deep dark valley and I will praise Him for taking me to the other side until my last heartbeat. Jesus promises to never leave us nor forsake us, so if you truly are following Him, and in the middle of your “darkest night”, do not give up! Keep praying, have friends pray, reach out to Him, call out to Him, and keep moving forward. By faith, keep moving forward. The enemy will try to convince you that God has deserted you. This is not true! God allows suffering for a reason. And if you are truly following Him, there is a divine purpose behind it and God will make sure to work it for your ultimate good!  Romans 8:28 from the NKJV says “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” And James 1: 2-3 says “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” I know it might be hard, but God says to “count it all joy”. Doing this by faith is the only way to do this. By faith “count it all joy” until God ends the trial. He will end it when He ordains it! One more verse to encourage you.

1 COR 2:9 (NKJV)

“But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
